COVID-19 Message ​ 

We appreciate that you may have questions about whether your care can continue with us though this period. Please rest assure that we are still OPEN and ready to look after you. 

Many of you rely on the services we provide to help perform the activities you enjoy. Our team has taken steps to safeguard our clinic as best as possible to ensure your confidence in pursuing the treatment and advice necessary.   

To protect you and our team, we have implemented the following plan: ​ 
1. Team members not directly involved with patient care will work from home as much as possible.​​ 
2. All clients on arrival will have their own separate waiting area. 
3. All clients have their own private treatment room, which is standard in our clinic. 
4. We continue to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the premises. 
5. Personal protective equipment will be used if required. 
6. Hand hygiene and cleaning practices will continue to be emphasised to reduce the spread of any infections. Be aware of the following prior to and whilst you are in our clinic: 
• Maintain hand hygiene by cleaning your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or use the alcohol-based hand rub 
• Clean your hands before entering an area used by other people 
• Clean your hands after using the bathroom • Clean your hands after coughing or sneezing 
• Practice good cough/sneeze etiquette by keeping away from other people, using disposable tissues or clothing (e.g. into your elbow), disposing of the tissues and cleaning your hands afterwards 
7. We have placed more hand sanitisers around our clinics for all to use. 
8. As per normal practice, patients or team members who are unwell are urged to stay home. 
9. Please call us to cancel your appointment if you have travelled abroad, arrived from interstate or had close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19 while infectious, as you must self-isolate at home for 14 days. 
10. If you develop respiratory symptoms or fever, please call healthdirect on 1800 022 222 and seek medical assistance. 
11. In the event of a lockdown, our clinic will to continue to provide telehealth consultations utilising our Telehealth online secure video application to conduct our consultations and assessments. We are also available to offer advice and support via phone. ​
